IS YOUR COMPANY'S CONTACT INFORMATION CURRENT?
As your company’s registered agent, Delaware Intercorp is
required to have on file your company’s current contact information. This includes a responsible party, mailing address and phone
number as well as a valid email address.
Why is this information needed? A registered agent provides an address to
receive legal service of process and official correspondence from Delaware’s
Secretary of State and is responsible for forwarding that information to an
authorized representative.
It goes without saying that a company that fails to receive this vital
documentation could be putting itself at unnecessary risk.

Back to Business as Usual!
We're back in the office, and fully staffed!
Have you considered your year end company matters?
One thing that may literally pay to do now rather than later is file that certificate of cancellation or certificate of dissolution you've been meaning to get to so that you can officially start the clock to wind up your business here in Delaware. Remember, if you take care of that now, as opposed to after December 31st, you will not be assessed the 2014 franchise tax to by the Delaware Division of Corporations. That can add up to a few hundred dollars in savings!
So, check with your accountant or tax preparer and see if it makes sense to file that termination document now, as opposed to next calendar year.

Office Closure due to Weather Event Tuesday, December 10, 2013
It's not even the official start of winter, and we've had two snowstorms in three days!
The State of Delaware offices in New Castle County are closed today, and we are following suit. We anticipate opening tomorrow for a normal business day, and will be back in action once the roads are cleared to serve your business needs.
You may still use our online ordering systems on our website so that we can be ready to process your filings as soon as possible when we reopen. As always, our EzFile system for payment of franchise taxes and filing of annual reports is a real-time filing system connected directly to the State. That means when you submit your EzFile request and also your payment, the filing happens instantly!
We will be back soon to assist you with any other matters you may have.
