Newark, Delaware Celebrating 250 Years!

The City of Newark’s charter is commemorating its 250th anniversary this year.

The official anniversary celebration events took place earlier in the year with a parade, a time-capsule, a special exhibition at the University of Delaware’s Morris Library and even a city-wide toast with its own beer, the "250th Anniversary Ale," made by Twin Lakes Brewing Co.
