Mexico is Back in the Financial Enforcement Game.

The Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN) today announced it is resuming cooperation with Mexico.

It appears that the Mexican government has been sharing our financial information with the wrong type of people.

FinCEN announced that the Mexican government has completed some retraining and implemented an ongoing training program. They also have signed a memorandum of understanding with the US Goverment.

FinCEN Director Fox said "Our counterparts in Mexico have made substantial progress in implementing the measures necesssary to resume informtion sharing".

This kind of thing makes me wonder who else has our "confidential" information.
