Jurisdictional Standards for State and Local Business Activity Taxes

This probably sounds like a great idea to many small business owners who struggle with not only staying in the black, but staying in compliance with each individual state they have a "nexus" in.

Here's an example of what I'm talking about:

It looks like we'll just have to wait to see if the "Business Activity Tax Simplification Act" will become a reality or not. The Delaware Division of Corporations now has online validation and verification for certificates

Businesses choose Delaware as their legal corporate home not only to take advantage of the flexible and modern corporate laws or to rely on the stability of the world renowned Delaware Court of Chancery, but also because of the business friendly environment.

Here's one more example.

The Delaware Division of Corporations now has online validation and verification for certificates that have been generated by their office for Stock Corporations, Limited Liability Companies, and other business entities.

Please note that this validation process does not apply to UCC filings, notary signature authentications or searches that have no been generated by the Delaware Division of Corporations and can only be utilized for certificates issued on Delaware business entities.

In order to validate a certificate you must have the authentication code from the certificate and the corporate file number.

Visit the Delaware Division of Corporations website to validate a certificate.
