Last Minute Reminder

May 31st is the last day for Limited Liability Companies to pay the annual franchise tax for the year 2002.

You may pay LLC franchise taxes online.

The penalty for not paying on time is $100.00 under current law and it will be $200.00 after July first, if the Governor signs the bill authorizing price increases for Delaware corporate and alternative entity filings.

The Delaware Division of Corporations on Picnic

The Delaware Division of Corporations will be holding their Employee Recognition Picnic on Monday, June 2, 2003. That's next Monday. We'd like to thank them here for the quick and professional service that they provide to us around the year.

The Division will be offering limited service on that day. According to a memo we've received from the Corporations Administrator, there won't be any "Same Day" service from the Delaware Division of Corporations, and expedited services from the State will not be available unless filed before 9:15 EDT. Thanks.
