I started watching this show a few years ago and found myself to be appealingly addicted to it. I love the cast- their casual, yet strangely professional investigations of old haunts continue to draw me in. This is the one night of the week that my daughter and I look forward to our tv time together. These guys, are like some outrageous extension of my family. We have Steve (my favorite), his tattoo population growing by the episode. He shows no fear of the unknown, but cowers like a small child when it comes to spiders, vermin and great heights. “Steve meet spiders. Spiders meet Steve.” Then there’s Jason and Grant, their Roto Rooter plumbing expertise often coming in handy with their “
debunking” of spontaneous toilet flushing/running faucets and strange creaks on floorboards. Brian, the loveable black sheep of the family, has now graduated to GHI (
Ghost Hunters International), a spin off series where Donna, Andy, Brian and Barry are traipsing about European castles, inns and jails. Wicked fun! My favorite episodes?
Fort Mifflin, Lizzie Borden’s House, the Myrtles and
Black Horse Inn.
