Delaware Corporations- Don't Procrastinate
Delaware Secretary of State is
working with a new computer system. As with
anything, with change there is reward, but new unforeseen challenges can spring up as well. There have been some reports
of glitches with this system
that are being aggressively addressed by the agency‘s dedicated staff.
That being the case, for our
customers with corporations, we recommend not waiting until the March 1
deadline to submit the mandatory annual franchise tax and annual report. That
way, there will be time to contact the State or your Delaware
Registered Agent should any questions or issues arise with your company’s
payment and filing.
There is an EZfile Delaware
Franchise Tax link on Delaware Intercorp’s website for the convenience of our
customers. Corporations that utilize
this function enjoy multiple benefits including complimentary storage of annual
reports and pre-populated fields in subsequent annual reports.

UPDATE: DELAWARE DIVISION OF CORPORATIONS EXPEDITED FILINGS
The Delaware Division of Corporations has notified us of a schedule change for Expedited Filings for January 22, 2016.
We must have all 30
Minute, Priority 1 and Priority 2 Filings to the Division of Corporations by 4P.M.
If you have a filing which will be affected by this schedule change, please direct any questions you may have to our Service Specialists .
