The State of Delaware has extended the Franchise Tax due date until March 2, 2011!

The following notice was recently posted on the Division of Corporations website:

URGENT NOTICE

Thank you for accessing our web site to file your Annual Franchise Tax Report. We are experiencing technical difficulties at this time and are working to correct them as soon as possible.

Because of these difficulties, the Division of Corporations has extended the Franchise Tax due date until March 2, 2011. We are hopeful that the system will be functioning later today and encourage you to file by 11:45 p.m. March 2nd. We apologize for the inconvenience this has caused you and appreciate your understanding in this matter.

While that is good news to anyone who is still trying to get their filings in, Delaware Intercorp is happy to accept your franchise tax and annual report submissions via EZ file. As of now, we haven't had any reports of problems through our system.
