Delaware annual report and franchise tax deadline is March 4th, 2011 @ 11:45 p.m. (EST)

Due to technical difficulties with their website, the Delaware Division of Corporations had extended the deadline for the 2010 Delaware corporate annual reports and franchise tax several times this week.

They've announced the final deadline as today.

The extended Franchise Tax due date will expire at 11:45 p.m. (EST) on Friday, March 4, 2011. Any corporation which has not filed its 2010 Annual Franchise Tax Report and paid tax and fees due, will be assessed a penalty of $125. on March 5, 2011.

You can use EZ file or try to file directly with the State to avoid penalty and possibly interest on the past due amount.
