Looking into a small business of your own

The global economy to some seems to be looking up from the downward spiral of the past two years. The global GDP is averaged to be $58.09 trillion and has an unemployment rate of 8.7%. The #2 GDP ($5,745,1333), China, is actually number 39 globally with an unemployment rate of 4.3%. Both the world’s and China’s unemployment rate are better than the United States which has a 9.3% unemployment rate. Economics states that GDP is an indicator of a country’s standard of living. This statement in mind, it would seem that the United States with the world’s highest GDP of almost $15 million should have a lower GDP than it currently does.

Even the state of Delaware that is ranked #24 in all fifty states with an unemployment rate of 8.4%.is doing better than the entire US is. That means that for every 100 citizens in the state of Delaware eight of them are actively looking for employment and still do not have a job. On the bright side our state has 24,006 small businesses that have employees and 32,242 self employed individuals.
