The following Legislation affecting Title 18 - Insurance Code was acted upon by the General Assembly on 1/26/2011:

Title: AN ACT TO AMEND TITLE 18 OF THE DELAWARE CODE RELATING TO SMALL EMPLOYER HEALTH INSURANCE.

Synopsis:

This bill enables small employer health insurance carriers to make 'stop-loss' insurance coverage available to small employers with more than 15 employees. The issuance of stop-loss coverage to small employers, defined as having no more than 50 employees, will be prohibited as of July 1, 2011. This bill will limit that prohibition to employers with 15 or fewer employees.
