‘Amazon bill’ on sales tax clears Senate in Virginia

The internet sales tax debate is alive and well, and it is feeding into the lack of bi-partisanship in U.S. Politics:

The Virginia Senate is backing a requirement that Internet retailers collect Virginia's 5 percent sales tax, but it's likely to be deleted by the tax-hostile House of Delegates.

I wonder how many Americans are interested to know that some politicians are looking to stop business growth, and job growth, particularity during this time of deep economic recession?

At least Amazon continues to get some free press from all of this nonsense, especially given the fact that they are Delaware Corporation and that their existence actually does support job creation around the country.
