Moving your business to Delaware

Delaware just can't pay for publicity like this; you have to earn it. A Salisbury, Maryland business owner laments on how green the grass is just across the State line in this letter to the editor:

Microbrewery is worth luring back to town

Some highlights from the letter:

  • Delaware offers a lower cost of doing business and no sales tax -- a great formula for big ticket items.


  • When starting a new business, $160,000 is hard to swallow in one town when you don't have to pay it in another town 10 miles up the road.


    • It's good being first.
