A short trip from Newark, Delaware, this former estate of William DuPont, Jr., now a natural resource management area, attracts a variety of outdoor enthusiasts. Fair Hill has approximately 75-miles of scenic multi-use trails for hiking, mountain biking, and horseback riding, as well as a stocked stream for fishing. You can view a view a variety of wildlife and plants, check out the historic covered bridge, visit the nature center, or enjoy the annual Fair Hill Races or Fair Hill International . I love to meander on horseback through the lesser- used woodlands of the Red Trail or have an exhilarating gallop through the beautiful fields. Tally ho!
