Net taxes are coming?

Like the idea of more affordable broadband networks in "unserved" locales? What if you had to pay for it?

Maybe you should read Oregon Republican Sen. Gordon Smith's

The article raises some interesting questions about the internet and also about our government. For example, do we really expect our Senators to try to tackle more than one complex issue at a time?
