Delaware LLC Tax

June 1, 2005 Due Date.

All limited liability company franchise tax returns go out in the mail by the Fifteenth of March and are due in the hands of the Division of Corporations before June first. All LLCs formed in the State of Delaware that have not filed a dissolution or merger with the State are required to pay the Franchise Tax.

Delaware Intercorp, Inc., is responsible for getting the report in the mail to the latest address you have provided. Failure to pay your franchise tax bill on time will result in a 100% penalty and interest charged at 1.5% per month, from the State of Delaware. The Division of Corporations assesses these charges. There is no need to panic if you do not receive your franchise tax report, since the Division makes payment options available online.
