Certificate of Good Standing
Sometimes called a Certificate of Existence or Certificate
of Authorization, a Certificate of Good Standing is a statement, on paper, from
the Delaware Secretary of State, that a company legally exists as a Delaware
Corporation or Limited Liability Company, and is in good standing with the
State of Delaware. This document may be required by another state or country
when you register with them as a foreign company planning on doing business in
their jurisdiction. A bank may also request a Certificate of Good Standing when
you open a business account.
This certificate can be ordered as a stand-alone product, or
as an optional item when forming a new entity with us.
